Specializing in supportive therapy for individuals and families impacted by a loved one's substance use
About me
Being in the field of social work for over ten years, I have come to realize my passion for working in private practice. I truly enjoy the work that I do, and I look forward to helping my clients grow and learn about themselves. My experience in this realm includes work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a wide range of issues including life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, divorce, and negative coping habits.
My specialization in practice is individuals and families impacted by a loved one’s addiction. This area is close to my heart, as I was the significant other of someone struggling with addiction. I use my experiences during sessions to show my clients that they are not alone, that I can relate to what they are going through, and to provide the encouragement that is often missing during this type of struggle.
I am a graduate of New York University Silver School of Social Work, where I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2008, and I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2016.
